Spring 2010 Editorial
Welcome to Heather Klar Spring 2010. My theme was “Handmade Technology”, mashing up technical with unique, the masses vs. the individual, impersonal becomes personalized, geeky gets sexy. I used hand-finishing details to exemplifiy these dichotomies, and fabrics that range from silks to humble shirting. I made everything all by myself, start to finish, head to toe, sketch to stitch. I also had a lot of fun!
